For over forty years we have striven to blend the pedigrees of the OLD FRED family of horses; using only those individuals that are both pretty to look at and athletic enough to get any job done. We have culled vigorously for disposition to complement their abilities. We are proud of our "people horses".

For more than 100 years there have been Taylor livestock grazing in the high country of the LaSal Mountains near Moab, Utah. Today's Taylor family is the fifth generation to use these rich mountain grasses. Our broodmares and foals thrive in this atmosphere of the old west. Here our foals learn how to handle themselves in all kinds of terrain and develop their athletic abilities.

Late spring and summer is an ideal time to visit Taylor Creek Ranch and look at the mares and foals, yearlings, and two year olds that we have for sale. It's also the time to experience the native wild flowers, see deer and elk and take the time to really enjoy the rugged and pristine LaSal mountain area.

If your travel times are better suited to the fall and winter, come enjoy our winter headquarters in the scenic area along the Colorado River near Fisher Towers and the Priest and The Nuns. You will see the Red Rocks and Cliffs that make up this area. Movies and commercials are filmed right here.

If you are not in the market right now for a quality Quarter or Paint Horse, consider spending some time in our area. Here you can river raft, jeep, bike, or hike some of the most gorgeous terrain you will ever see. Perhaps choose a day that includes a cattle drive or a "horse whisperer" training young horses, or just plain relaxing.

Our Sale Horses

Since we virtually never sell at auction, there is always a wide variety of horses for sale at Taylor Creek Ranch. Usually we have one or two breeding age stallions for sale or lease. A large selection of breeding age mares (most broke to ride). Or a small, but select group of ranch geldings currently at work in our cattle operation. Perhaps a yearling show or performance prospect is what you are looking for--whatever your horse needs, shop in the relaxed atmosphere of a real western horse/cattle ranch. We invite you to sit back and enjoy your visit to Taylor Creek Ranch by clicking on the optional links below.
